I don't know about y'all but I cannot believe Easter is Sunday!!! I know everyone says it, but where in the world does the time go??? The dress I am wearing in the pictures is a dress I got two years ago for my bridal shower. I will be wearing it this year for Easter. I love already having something in my closet to wear, even though it is fun to go shopping for a new dress. That's why I wanted to give y'all some affordable, fun Easter dress options from Amazon. And, of course, they are all prime so they will make it before Sunday. I made sure to only pick dresses with plenty of reviews that have at least 4 out of 5 stars.

Here in Charlotte we never know what the weather is going to be like on Easter. Some years it's sunny and warm, and others it's cold and rainy. This year it looks like it's going to be warm and cloudy, which I will take over the latter. Easter is pretty low key for us. My husband and I will go to church and then to his parents for a late lunch. This is the first year with our niece, but she is too little to know what is going on this year. Next year I am sure she will dominate the easter egg hunt. 😜

Hope you all have a Happy Easter! And remember, He is risen!

Amazon Crop Top

Hello friends, happy almost Friday! I have been babysitting my niece all week and am currently getting a taste of mommyhood and writing this post while she takes a nap. How cute is this crop top from Amazon? The best part is it's only $16!! I am wearing a size small. When I first tried it on I thought it might be showing more skin than I was comfortable with. So, I paired it with this high waisted denim (which have been on repeat since I got them) and I'm ready for a night out with the girls! It would also look great with white denim, skinny or flared. I'd wear white denim for a day look.

This is my first post since Krista and I decided that I should take over the blog. Krista realized that she has more of a passion for fitness and nutrition. I am so excited for her and I know whatever she does it will be a success! I am also excited to continue Prime Your Style by myself. I love that Krista and I started this together because I needed the push and someone to hold me accountable.  Starting a blog has been something I have wanted to do for awhile, but there was something holding me back. That something being me. I thought who would want to read it and I'm a terrible writer. But here I am writing and you're reading!  Yay!!!

Old Navy Lace-Up-Yoke Swing Dress

Happy Hump Day!!! Hope you all are having a great week. Mine has been good so far, just busy. If you haven't noticed by now, I love showing yall how I style the same piece different ways. I think is fun and I love getting the most use out of my clothes as possible. This little dress is from Old Navy and it's only $15 right now. I am wearing an XS. I am on the taller side, so sometimes dresses like this are too short for me, but this one was a good length. My favorite look is the one above with the jean jacket and espadrilles. It's the comfiest and perfect for relaxing spring days.

This look is a little more dressy. This dress does not have much shape so I added the belt to make it more fitted and added a heel. I would wear this to a girls brunch or maybe a bridal or baby shower. Which it is definitely baby season for my girlfriends!

This last look is my transition look from winter to spring. Here in Charlotte the mornings and evenings are cool and the day can get warm, so layers are a must this time of year. These boots are one of my favorites. I got them a few years ago from Sam Edelman. They no longer make these ones but I linked some similar from, that's right, you guessed it, Amazon!

Hope yall find this post helpful!

Workout Pants: The Low Down

There are a few brands for workout pants that I tend to gravitate to when I reach to get dressed for a workout. I will breakdown the fit, price, and some amazon alternatives on my absolute favorite workout pants.

First,  the Lululemon (Lulus) Align I crop pant. These high-waisted gems are thin and moldable while also durable and breathable. They have endless stretch and I feel so secure in them! I choose these on leg day usually. Doing a ton of squats and hip thrusts I like the higher pant (lots of bending over). I own the crop pant but the full pant is on my list! I ordered this pair on the Mercari app (similar to Poshmark) for secondhand clothes since the original pair is over $90. Either way, I only paid a FRACTION of the price. I know Lululemons are on the more expensive side, but dang, every single pair I own have lasted YEARS.

Second, Fabletics is another go-to for me. The pants Magan and I are wearing are both Fabletics and comfy as hell. There are not enough pictures to cover all the pants I love from this brand. Thick, stretchy, conforms to your body, and guaranteed quality. Prices range from $40-$90 depending on sales. Downside, to really make this commitment pay off cost-wise you need to be a VIP; join the Fabletics monthly commitment. Now, you can postpone orders and never pay anything, just don't forget to skip the month online or you do get charged (used as credit for future purchases). You wont regret one pair of pants you get with this brand.

Third, Namastetics is one of my most recent go-to pants. This yoga specific brand is actually perfect for all types of workouts. The high, thick waist is not only flattering, but it ensures nothing falls out! The two-toned pant leg is adorable and I get compliments all the time. Plus they are moderately priced at around $45 a pair...and guess what! They are on amazon! YEAA, love me some prime life. I think my obsession for this pant is going to lead me to getting every color. I wear an XS to S depending on time of year and competition prep.
